Can't stop a Cruise-in

The weather here in indiana has been really rough for the last couple of weeks. Constant rain has certain areas getting record high flooding and damages. Carshows have been cancelling left and right. Even Good Guys annual show was closed saturday due to the constant rain. It was open sunday but mud was everywhere and people were getting stuck left and right. So when this weekend came around I was worried that the cruise-in wouldn't happen. I was wrong. The cruise-in had a great turnout. Unfortunately my battery was low on my camera from keeping it in the car so I only got a couple of pictures. I need better batteries.

A Bad couple of storms

Sorry for the delay everyone but indiana has been hit by a couple of storms and tornadoes that have turned this midwest state upside down. Unfortunately I haven't had a chance to take pictures but I will be getting pictures as soon as possible. Lucky I found some video of how bad the storms were. This video shows how in one day 9 inches of rain came down and road into a river. It is crazy.

Hot Rods, Rat Rods DVD Review

Now most times when you watch a movie related to hot rods they seem to always show these top notch builders building $100,000 cars. They use tools you don't have access to and spend countless hours working on them without fear of running out of money. It makes it hard to relate when your that guy building his car on a limited budget in his garage.

Well Lucky this DVD is definitely for the backyard builder. It shows some beautiful traditional rods that were built by average joes. What made it really interesting is that they show the making of a rat rod truck. The movie really shows you how parts, found anywhere from dumpsters to a old couch, can be used to make something cool. This movie is great and worth watching.
