Hot Rods, Rat Rods DVD Review

Now most times when you watch a movie related to hot rods they seem to always show these top notch builders building $100,000 cars. They use tools you don't have access to and spend countless hours working on them without fear of running out of money. It makes it hard to relate when your that guy building his car on a limited budget in his garage.

Well Lucky this DVD is definitely for the backyard builder. It shows some beautiful traditional rods that were built by average joes. What made it really interesting is that they show the making of a rat rod truck. The movie really shows you how parts, found anywhere from dumpsters to a old couch, can be used to make something cool. This movie is great and worth watching.

Paradise Rod and Custom Open House

Here is indianapolis there is a great little shop called Paradise Rod and Custom. Over the weekend they had a open house/carshow to show everyone there products and projects. Unfortunately I had to work, and when I got there with my son people where moving out. Lucky I was able to get a couple of pictures of the cars that stayed around. The next time I plan on going to a open house I am leaving early.

Chrome Carnival Carshow

Well lucky I was able to attend the Chrome Carnival in Carmel, Indiana. The show, which is thrown by the Indiana Freedom Cruzer Car Club, was great. Even with the cold breeze alot of people still came and alot of cars showed up. Lucky I had my camera with me to take some pictures.
